Privacy
Privacy Policy
This website, RyanBlackwellMD.com (the “Site”), provides general information and patient education about orthopedic sports medicine. This policy explains, in plain language, how the Site handles information. It describes the Site as it works today.
Information you provide
The Site has no forms, accounts, or fields through which you submit personal or health information directly to this Site. It does not ask you to create an account or sign in.
How the Site behaves
The application itself does not use analytics, advertising pixels, or tracking cookies. It does not show advertisements and does not build a marketing profile of you.
Technical information and hosting
Like most websites, the Site is delivered by a hosting provider. That provider may automatically process ordinary technical information — such as your IP address, browser details, timestamps, and the pages you request — to deliver the Site and keep it reliable and secure. This is standard server operation; the Site does not use it to identify you or combine it with a personal profile. Once a hosting provider is chosen, this section will be reviewed and updated to reflect that provider’s practices.
Requesting an appointment (Orthopedic ONE)
When you choose to request an appointment, the Site sends you to Orthopedic ONE’s website. Orthopedic ONE receives information only after you choose to leave this Site and use Orthopedic ONE’s services. This Site does not schedule appointments and does not receive what you enter there. When you interact with Orthopedic ONE, its privacy and clinical-record practices apply — see Orthopedic ONE’s Notice of Privacy Practices. For urgent requests, Orthopedic ONE asks that you call rather than use its online form.
Educational videos
Some pages offer short educational videos hosted on YouTube. A video does not load or play until you click to play it. Before you play a video, a still preview image for it is loaded from YouTube’s image service, and YouTube’s image service may receive ordinary request information (such as your IP address) when that preview image loads. If you start a video or follow a link to YouTube, YouTube may process additional information under its own privacy policy. We do not control YouTube.
Links and downloads
The Site links to other websites (for example, Orthopedic ONE, YouTube, and a manufacturer’s manual). Those sites have their own privacy policies, which we do not control. Downloadable guides and rehabilitation protocols are ordinary PDF files delivered by the Site’s host; downloading one does not create a separate manufacturer, analytics, or advertising disclosure.
Your information and your choices
This Site does not maintain an account or a personal profile for you. If you have questions about personal or health information you have shared with Orthopedic ONE — including access to or correction of your records — those requests are handled by Orthopedic ONE under its own practices (see its Notice of Privacy Practices).
Children’s privacy
The Site is intended for a general adult audience — patients, families, and others seeking orthopedic information. It is not directed to children, and it does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
Data security
We take reasonable care with the Site. However, no website or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Because the Site itself does not collect personal information from you, there is no personal account or stored personal data on the Site to expose.
Changes to this policy
If the way the Site handles information changes — for example, if a contact form or analytics were added, or once a hosting provider is selected — this policy will be updated to describe the change. The effective date below shows when the current version took effect.
Questions
While a dedicated contact address is being set up, please use the Orthopedic ONE main line as an interim contact — (614) 827-8700 — and mention that you are contacting us about the website.
Effective date: August 23, 2026
