Accessibility Statement

Our approach

The Site is designed and tested with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA as its accessibility target. As part of building the Site, we review and test pages — using both manual checks and automated tools — at mobile, tablet, and desktop sizes. Testing helps us find issues but does not by itself prove accessibility, and accessibility is ongoing work, so we continue to look for improvements. We aim for:

• clear, consistent navigation and a “skip to main content” link;
• text that can be resized and content that reflows without breaking;
• sufficient color contrast and a visible keyboard focus indicator;
• full keyboard operability and support for screen readers;
• descriptive text alternatives for meaningful images and semantic headings and landmarks;
• content that does not rely on color alone and that respects a “reduce motion” setting.

Videos and downloadable documents

Educational videos load from YouTube only after you choose to play them; once loaded, the video player is provided by YouTube, and its controls and captions are governed by YouTube. Downloadable guides and rehabilitation protocols are provided as PDF files. If you need the information in a video or a PDF in a different format, please contact us (below) and we will work with you to provide it.

Third-party content

Some content on the Site comes from third parties (for example, embedded videos). The accessibility of that third-party content is partly outside our control, but we are glad to help you find an alternative where we can.

If you have trouble using the Site

If you encounter a barrier or have difficulty using any part of the Site, please tell us. It helps if you can include:

• the page address (web link) where you had the problem;
• a short description of the difficulty; and
• the device, browser, and any assistive technology you were using.

We will make reasonable efforts to address the issue and to provide the information you need in an accessible way.
